The League of Women Voters is an organization that has provided leadership on a myriad of national, state, and local issues and has given its members a network of friendship and involvement for over eighty years. Men and women 18 years and older are welcome.

As a member, you may choose any level of participation, from financial support to an active role. Like most things in life, however, it is more fun to become involved. If your interest is in Government, International Relations, Natural Resources, or Social Policy, we have a place for you. A few activities which have proven to be particularly good for new members include our high school registration project in the spring and fall, our on-going observer corps that attends public meetings, assembling of our voter guides, and submitting questions for our forums, such as those on elections, health care, or the environment.

When you join our local League, you automatically became a member of the League of Women Voters at the State and National levels as well. You will receive the state VOTER (5 times a year) and the quarterly NATIONAL VOTER, in addition to our local bulletin.
